Friend: I wanna know what God is trying do for me, what are his plans and why..
Me: Err..okay.*raise eyebrows* why?
Okay so the conversation went on and on .. to a point where i realized it was
pointless in arguing with him. To me, there is simply 'no point' in knowing why/what His plans are. You know you'll never find what you're looking for. Does it really matter? Yeah okay, maybe sometimes life can be complicated. Well.. why shouldn’it be!
If we give in to self-pity and be miserable, we block God’s riches from our lives and hinder others from entering into His provision. No offense also to other people who use words such as 'God tells me../God has done this for me..', I just find it so difficult to listen objectively.
That conversation seemed to last forever..
If knowing answers to life's questions is absolutely necessary to you, then forget the journey. You will never make it, for this is a journey of unknowables-of unanswered questions, enigmas, incomprehensibles, and most of all, things unfair.
-Madame Jeanne Guyon-
7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.(2 Cor 1:7)
