The Youth Alpha retreat.
I still recall how Chrissy accused me of 'tricking' her into joining Alpha last year. HAHA. Okay maybe I had some intention of not revealing what Alpha really is and what we were gonna do that evening...BAH its so long ago..so let it go ok! lmao.
Anyway, last weekend, we made our way to Gopeng for our youth alpha retreat. I looked forward to spending time with the younger ones and getting to know some of the new faces. 'Ooh what a delight!' I thought.
We headed straight for Gua Tempurung, and considering I thought we were gonna 'climb' and 'crawl' through the dark narrow passages and in the dirt, I didn't bring along my camera!! Argh how I silly of me. Cos the view was simply extraordinary!! The cave was gigantic and the rock formations were so amazing. Although I must admit that I found the darkness and the steep paths pretty eery. The cave reminded us of the dramatic battle between Gandalf and the Beast in the Mines of Moria. And to think the entire cave used to be under water is ...so astounding!
Its always amusing to see how people complain once their handphones have no signal. Almost like we're all addicted to our phones. Andrew was complaining from the moment we left KL, and it only got worse as hours go by. I think he was on the verge of screaming around when his MP3 player had no more battery. HAHA.
By the time we arrived at the campsite, everyone was exhausted and hungry.

At the end of the trip, we all had a fantastic time..if only it were longer. =)
